ISLAMABAD - Haseeb won the Rawalpindi District Table Tennis title while Sulman Manto and Shanza Haseeb U-16 boys’ and girls’ single titles. Liaqat Bagh Sport Complex organised the event in collaboration with Rawalpindi District Table Tennis Association (RTTA). In men's singles final, Haseeb thrashed Asad 4-0, in boy’s U-16 final, Salman Manto beat Usman Bin Saud 3-0 while in the girl's U-16 final Shanza Haseeb beat Shazia 3-2. Men's team event was won by Islamabad after defeating Mantak Club Rawalpindi 3-2 in the final. National table tennis champion Ghazala Roohi was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed prizes among the players. RTTA secretary Syed Nadeem Sajid announced to hold Inter-district Night Table Tennis in Ramazan and U-16 Punjab (boys’ & girls’) events after Eid. –Staff Reporter
