ISLAMABAD - Shahida Kausar Farooq, Chairperson Subh-e-Nau, has hailed Pakistan Tennis Federation for holding PTF Trophy from first January 2013.
She expressed her concerns for not including ladies category in the event and asked PTF to include ladies category as there are already very few chances for female stars to compete on national level.
This trophy will provide them much needed practice for the upcoming Federation Cup tie. She said that PTF should groom junior female players like junior boys as there are many talented emerging players in the circuit like Maheen Dada, Hania Naveed and Rida Khalid. These players should be given equal chances to get train and play tournament abroad, she added.
