KRL out of AFC President Cup

ISLAMABAD - Duminda brace helped Sri Lankan Air Force to dump out Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) FC from AFC President Cup at Sugathadas Stadium, Colombo Sunday. KRL media manager Ali Zaidi talking from Colombo said KRL just needed a draw for not only qualifying for the final round but also could have qualified for the AFC Cup scheduled to be held next year but KRL players displayed very poor form which blew their chances to make any further progress. KRL conceded all the three goals in the first eight minutes of the first half. In fourth minute, Kavidu threw the ball in the net on Duminda pinpoint cross. Duminda scored second goal through penalty when Naveed committed a foul in the 5th minute. Third goal was a field goal as Duminda completed his brace in the 8th minute.–Staff Reporter
