ISLAMABAD - Helped by Saqib's brace, Al-Qaim Football Club brushed aside Royal Player FC 3-1 in the Ghauri Football Challenge Cup 2013 match played here at H-9 Degree College for men football ground. Al-Qaim FC started the match on a positive note and was duly rewarded within five minutes of the start of the first half when Saqib scored a goal to give Al-Qaim 1-0 lead. They continued to pile pressure on their opponents and Ahmed scored the second goal in the 35th minute to make it 2-0. Ismail scored only goal for Royal FC to reduce the deficit 2-1. In the second half, Royal Player FC tried their best to score a goal with their good attack but Al-Qaim defense stood firm and denied their opponents from scoring. Saqib then came to front and scored another goal for Al-Qaim FC to make it 3-1. –Staff Reporter
