DUBAI  - Pakistan spin bowler Saeed Ajmal is among the six players who have been nominated in three different categories for the LG ICC Awards 2012, says a press release issued here on Monday.
The six players include Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal, South Africa’s Hashim Amla, Australia captain Michael Clarke, Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara, England’s Alastair Cook and West Indies Stafanie Taylor.
All the nominated players feature in the ICC Cricketer of the Year, the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy, long list, while the male nominees are all nominated in both the ICC Test Cricketer of the Year and ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year long lists, Taylor on the other hand features in the ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year and ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year long lists.
