LAHORE – Wicketkeeper batsman Ammar Tariq played a superb knock of 81 runs to steer Prince Club to earn an impressive seven-wicket triumph over Manawan Club in a match played here at the Railway Mughalpura Institute Ground. Batting first, Manawan Club played well and posted 159 runs on the board in the allotted overs. Awais was top scorer with 24 runs while Mumtaz added 13 runs and Fida Hussain 10. Sameer Akram and Sadamul Haq bowled brilliantly as both clinched three wickets each for 27 and 29 runs respectively while Hurair Khan got 2-14. In reply, Prince Club achieved the required target for the loss of just three wickets. Ammar Tariq was top scorer for the winners with convincing 81 runs. Awais Butt scored 34 and M Sajid added 30.
