LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) U-16 One-day Cricket Tournament will be played here from December 24 at Lahore and Islamabad.
The PCB spokesman Friday said that 13 teams had been divided into two pools and would feature in the event. Pool A comprises Quetta, Karachi, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Bahawalpur, Lahore and Multan, while Pool B has Abbottabad, Sialkot, Peshawar, FATA, Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Bahawalpur region has been added as 13th team in the tournament. The dates and venues of semi-finals and final of the tournament would be announced later, he added.
The training camp of the selected players would be held from December 15 to 22 at their respective regions. FATA team’s camp would be held in Peshawar and Quetta team’s training camp would be here at NCA, he said. “The participating teams have been selected after completing talent hunt activities at various districts across the country under the youth development program NCA, Youth Development Wing.
