Lahore Eagles win in National ODI Cricket

LAHORE - Lahore Eagles won the match of One-Day National Cricket Division-II after defeating Peshawar Panthers by two wickets here at the Lahore Cricket Association ground on Friday. Batting first, Peshawar Panthers were all-out on a meagre total of 135 runs in 31.3 overs. Waqas Alam's four and Emad Ali's three wickets made Peshawar team helpless. Nawaz Ahmad and Akbar Badshah were top scorers of Peshawar Panthers with 34, 23 runs respectively. Lahore Eagles achieved the target in 36 overs losing their eight wickets. Intikhab Alam made the highest 39 runs for the Lahore team. Taj Wali grabbed four wickets for the losers.
