ISLAMABAD – Twenty four coaches passed the IAAF CECS Level-I coaches course, organised by the Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) under the banner of International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF). AFP president Maj Gen (r) M Akram Sahi and PSB Acting DG Dr Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera were guest of honours at the certificate distribution ceremony. The 10-day course was held here at the Pakistan Sports Complex and conducted by IAAF director course Level-I Nasrullah Rana who was assisted by Rafique Ahmad. A total of 37 coaches from across the country participated in the course out of which 24 were successful. Speaking on the occasion, Sahi said that the AFP was taking best possible steps to not only work on players, but also giving top priority to educate coaches as well.–Staff Reporter
