LAHORE The third session of the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Netball Coaching and Tournament Program 2010 completed successfully here at the Govt. Post Graduate College, Women, Wahdat Road courts on Thursday. According to Mudassar Arain, Secretary General PNF the course which started on April 13 to 15 was organised by the PNF in collaboration with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and Punjab Netball Association. The final match was played between 55-Netball Club, Gulberg and Beacon House Liberty Branch netball teams. The 55-Netball Club won the match by 12-08 goals and declared the champion. Ms Eza (GS) of 55-Netball Club was the outstanding performer with 10 goals. Khalid Parviaz, Yasir, Maqbool, Ahmed, Kamran Malik, Umer Farooq, Farhan Al, Javed Shah, Adeel Khan, Shoaib & Mohsin supervised the matches. Shahreyar Ali, Executive Director, Treet Groups was the chief Guest of the closing ceremony and distributed the trophies, certificates and prizes among the winner & runner-up teams. Mudassar Arain, Secretary, PNF, Idris Haider Khawaja, Secretary, Punjab Olympic Association, Ajaz ul Haq, Secretary, SNA, Muhammad Rizwan, Secretary, PNA & Mr. Mian Muhammad Afzal, Secretary, GNA were also present in this occasion. The next program will be held at Quetta from 20th to 21st April 2010. Final Position: 1st Position; 55-Netball Club , Gulbreg 2nd Position: Beacon House Liberty Lahore The 12 netball teams were participated from schools & Colleges. 1st Semi Final: Beacon School Liberty A-level beat Beacon House O-Level Netball team by 9-3 goals. 2nd semi-final: 55-Netball Club beat LGS Shah Jamal by 11-1 goals.
