LAHORE – Another session of ‘Get into Rugby Programme’ held here at the Government Pilot Higher Secondary School Wahdat Road Wednesday. More than 230 boys from different classes took part in it. Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) head coach Shakeel Ahmad along with other coaches Arslan Elahi, M Tauseef, Mohsin Malik, Umair Malik, Usama Malik, PRU development coordinator Syed Mozzam Ali Shah, school principal Azhar Mehmood and sports teacher Rana Ashraf were present there. Speaking about the programme, PRU secretary Arif Saeed said: “The PRU’s target for this year is 10,000 school, colleges and university boys. The GIR will help us introduce proper rugby culture among youth and engage them in rugby. Next week, PRU brings GIR into colleges and universities.”
