International Women Squash C’ship

ISLAMABAD – Bahria Town International Women Squash Championship has attracted six international female players of four countries which will start from 20th at Safari Squash Courts, Bahria Town. A total of 35 female players will be seen in action during the 5-day mega event in which players from India, China, South Korea and Sri Lanka would also take part. India and China have two players while Sri Lanka and South Korea have one player each. The championship carries a total prize money of $4000. Pakistan number 1 female squash player Maria Toor Pakai, who is Canada based, is number 1 seed for the event while South Korean Ahineun Chan is second seed followed by two Chinese girls at number 3 and 4, while Sammer Anjum is 5th seed of the event.–Staff Reporter
