Pakistan beat India in Blind T20

LAHORE - Pakistan blind cricket team outclassed Indian team in the Inter-loop Pakistan-India Blind Cricket T20 Series opening match played here at the Gymkhana Cricket Ground Bagh-e-Jinnah.
Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) chairman Syed Sultan Shah, also World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC) chief, inaugurated the event. The match was reduced to 17 overs aside due to rain. Pakistan won the toss and asked India to bat first. India scored 158 runs for the loss of three wickets in 17 overs. Hanuman (34), Ajay Reddy (28) and Venkatesh (39*) played well for India. Sajid took two wickets. In reply, Pakistan achieved the target for the loss of three wickets in 15.3 overs. Nasir Ali was top scorer with 54 runs while M Jameel contributed 49. Sukhram and Ketan got one wicket each. Nasir was named man of the match. Chairman Sui Gas and Lahore Gymkhana Mian Misbahur Rehman was chief guest at the occasion along with Col Ijaz and Sultan Shah distributed prizes among the players. The second T20 will be played today (Sunday) at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.
