LAHORE - Lahore Garrison clinched the Cool and Cool Polo Cup title played here at the Lahore Polo Club on Sunday. Lahore Garrison defeated Rijas in the final by six to five goals in thriller. Shaukat Ali Malik hit three goals, Omer Minhas two and Asif Manzoor one goal for Lahore Garrison. Saqib Khan Khakwani netted three goals and Atif Tiwana two for the losers. Shah Shamyl Alam and Taimur Ali Malik served as umpires. Speaker Punjab Assembly M Iqbal Khan was the guest of honour who distributed prizes among the winners. Meanwhile, PICIC Insurance beat Remounts by seven to six goals in nail-biter in subsidiary final. Ahmed Khan enabled PICIC Insurance to grab seven goals as he hit five while Zain Khan Khakwani and Naveed Shiekh added one each. Asif Zahoor netted five goals and Zulfiqar Baig one for the losers.
