ISLAMABAD - Umer Nawaz batted National Cricket Club to 48-run triumph over Mol Pakistan in a T20 played here at National ground Friday. National Club, batting first, piled up a massive total of 188-5 in the allotted overs. Umer smashed 34-ball 70 runs hitting 10 fours and two sixes. He was ably supported by Mukhtar Alam who scored 35 and Ali Imran 31. Waleed bowled well and picked up two wickets for 34. In reply, Mol team could score 140 in 19.3 overs. Zaman was only notable scorer for the losers as he scored 43. Hasan Ali was the pick of the National Club bowlers with 3-23, while M Shafique, Saboor Ahmed and M Tanveer took two wickets each. National Club president Shabbir Ahmed was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony. Umer was declared player of the match.
