LAHORE Government College University (GCU) clinched the Inter-varsity Cricket Championship here at PU Old Campus ground. GCU defeated University of Engineering and Technology by seven wickets. Batting first, UET scored 166 runs all out in 34.4 overs and in reply, GCU achieved the target for the loss of three wickets. Director Sports Punjab University Dr Zafar Rahseed was chief guest on the occasion and distrusted prizes among the winners.
