SAF Games training camps established

ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) on request of POA started training camps of different federations at Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar for the South Asian Games, commencing from January 10 next year in Guwahati and Shillong, India. PSB DDG Technical Syed Habib Shah said: “The PSB vide letter dated July 14 urged the concerned national sports federations to establish training camps and intimate the date of the commencement, venues and strength of the camp trainees along with names. “We have established wrestling, wushu, handball, weightlifting, athletics, taekwando and table tennis camps at Islamabad, boxing camp at Karachi, cycling, karate, ju-jitsu in Lahore and judo in Peshawar centers while badminton, kabaddi and squash camps would be established soon.”
