Army Red maintain supremacy in Junior Taekwondo

ISLAMABAD - Army Red Saturday maintained their supremacy in the 10th Korean Ambassador National Junior National Taekwondo Championship 2015, currently underway at Hamidi Hall, Pakistan Sports Complex as they have grabbed four gold medals.
MNA Ali M Khan was the chief guest on the second day of the competitions. In khyrogi U-55 kg, Danish of Punjab won gold, Rizwan Ajk silver and Naveed Ullah of Balochistan and Ahmed Khan of Fata earned bronze medals. In U-49 kg, Bilal Khan of Baluchistan B won gold, Shahzad of Baluchistan A silver and Tariq Aziz of KP and Bilal Anjum of Punjab A bronze medals. In poomsae, Waseem Javed, Usman and Ahsan of Army Red won gold, Sofia, Khizar and Ahmed Raza of AJK silver and Liaqat Ashraf, M Abbas and Umar of Fata and Aqash, Sohail, Adeel of Punjab C earned bronze medals.
In the pair poomsae, Waseem Javed and Usman of Army Red secured gold, Hashim and Sofia of AJK silver and Liaqat and Abbas of Fata and Mobeen Malik and Sarfraz of Army Green won bronze. In individual poomsae male, Waseem Javed of Army Red grabbed gold, Mobeen Malik of Army Green silver, and Khizar Siddiqui of AJK and Wajahat of Sindh A bronze medals. In individual poomsae female, Sofia of AJK bagged gold, Aleena of Army Red silver and Arroba Badar of Sindh B and Sumiera of Sindh A bronze medals.
