Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Gold

ISLAMABAD - NBP team was in commanding position against Rawalpindi Rams, as they took 24 runs first innings lead with five wickets still intact in their Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (Gold) 2014-15 second round match here at Pindi Stadium on Sunday. Fawad Alam scored unbeaten 115 including 16 fours, while Hammad Azam made unbeaten 50. Abid Hasan and Rizwan Akbar took two wickets each. Earlier, Rawalpindi resumed their first innings at overnight score of 281-9 in 89.3 overs and was all out for 282 in 90.4 overs. At Diamond Cricket ground, Islamabad Leopards required another 169 runs for win against UBL with nine wickets remaining. They scored three runs for the loss of one wicket in four overs. UBL resumed their second innings with 56 runs first innings deficit and was bowled out for 228 in 81.1 overs.
