ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad Boxing Association (IBA) has announced the names of the boxers for the upcoming 32nd National Games set to start here from June 28. Talking to The Nation on Thursday, IBA president Aoun Abbas said: “After one-month training camp under the command of Iranian coach, we have selected a strong team to represent Islamabad. We have selected eight boxers, two coaches and one manager. M Tanveer Muner will fight in light flyweight 42-49kg, Jamshaid Khan in flyweight 52kg, Younis Khan in bantamweight 56kg, Ilyas Raza in lightweight 60kg, Imtiaz Khan in light welterweight 64kg, M Zubair in welterweight 69kg, Haris Farooq in middleweight 75kg and Hafizullah Taimoor in heavyweight 90kg while Shoukat Rafi and Irfan Ahmed are coaches and Safdar Islam manager. –Staff Reporter
