2nd Test: SA declare post tea at 584/9

AB de Villiers notched a career-best 263 runs and a last-wicket partnership of 91 on Sunday helped South Africa reach 568-9 at tea against Pakistan in the second and final Test. The tea break was extended by half an hour but de Villiers and Morne Morkel (34) were unbeaten at the crease. Earlier in the day, Tanveer Ahmed became the 10th Pakistani to take five wickets in an innings on debut when he dismissed de Villiers' overnight partner Mark Boucher. But the tail-enders helped add an overall total of 227 runs.
