OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Mao Gymkhana defeated Shining Club by seven wickets in a friendly fixture played here the other day. Shining Club, batting first, posted 180 runs on the board in the allotted 30 overs. Faheem (60), Rajab (21) and Raja (19) batted well. For Mao Gym, Tariq Musharaf was the key bowler who grabbed five wickets. In reply, Mao Gymkhana chased the target successfully in the 28th over for the loss of three wickets. Umer Butt played superb knock of 101 runs while Ahmed Riaz (30) and Awais (25) also played well. Ali took two wickets and Faizan got one. At the end, Umer Buttwas declared the best player of the match.
