ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's Samir Iftikhar brushed aside world number 25 on ITF junior world rankings Hong Sun Cheon in straight sets 6-4, 6 4 at Linda Estate Tennis Center Alberque New Mexico USA. Samir is currently on athletic scholarship at University of New Mexico and was faced off Korea's Junior Davis Cupper and Junior Champion in a specially arranged match. Samir, fresh from his Last week's UNCW invitational singles title, played flawless tennis displaying superb groundstrokes and serves throughout the match. He Broke the Korean in the in 7th and 9th games to win the match in straight sets. His victory over World Number 25 Junior is a big accomplishment as Pakistan lost to South Korea 4- 0 in Davis Cup tie back in 2011. –Staff Reporter
