AUCKLAND (Agencies) - Pakistan coach Waqar Younis was not concerned with his side's limp five-wicket loss to Auckland in a T20 warm-up match at Colin Maiden Park on Thursday. Pakistan failed to bat out its 20 overs when making 90, a total Auckland picked off in 13.2 overs. "It wasn't the ideal start but that happens sometimes when you've just arrived in the country and when you don't really know much about the pitch conditions. I'm not really worried about it," he said. Waqar said he wanted more practice for the team and they were headed straight back onto the field to get back into action after the loss. "We're really keen to do well at the international level," he said. The batting had been undergoing a good deal of work but the batsmen failed to click in the game and no-one had taken responsibility to anchor the effort, he said. "I think they've learned the lesson and hopefully in the next game (the first Twenty20 international against New Zealand on Boxing Day) it will be a different ball game," he said. Weather conditions since the team's arrival in Auckland had not been especially helpful but he wasn't prepared to grumble about that. He was expecting the demands of international play, the presence of a big crowd and the big game atmosphere would help inspire his side to perform. "We have done badly today and we have spoken about it and we have to work over the next couple of days we don't perform with a similar performance," he said.
