OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Azam Lurka, who is also Rustam Bahawalpur, has clinched the ninth Khadim-e-Aala Punjab Dangal title by beating Acchi Pehalwan in five-minute bouts at Sadiqabad. In the second big bout of the dangal which was being supervised by the Tehsil Municipal Sadiqabad, Rustam Rahim Yar Khan Goga Pehalwan downed Rustam Bahawalpur Gulmand, in the title bout, Adnan Dani Pehalwan beat Awais Pehalwan while in the fourth bout, Allah Ditta of Bahawalpur overwhelmed Ashiq Pehalwan. A big crowed was there in the stadium to witness the big bouts and the saw 15 bouts in all. Captain (retd) Khalid Mehmood Khan, Assistant Commissioner Sadiqabad, and member Punjab Assembly Ch M Shafiq and Convener Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Arshad were the guests of honour who, at the end, distributed prizes among the winners. On the occasion, Captain (retd) Khalid Mehmood Khan appreciated the all-out efforts of Mohsin Arshad who did his best to organize these dangals in such a good way.
