England series a tough task for Pakistan: Cheema


LAHORE - Pakistan team manager Naveed Akram Cheema says England series is not an easy task for Pakistan and they have to work hard to win the series.
Talking to media persons during the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) meeting here at a local hotel on Saturday, Naveed Akram Cheema said: “England is preparing fully and training for the series as they are going to UAE some time earlier before the start of the series and trying to be familiar with the UAE’s conditions. They will give Pakistan tough time.”
He further said that for the preparations for the England series, the Pakistan team will have its training session here at the National Cricket Academy. The training camp will commence from January 4 and will end on 7th while they will 8th will be rest day and on 9th, they will leave for UAE.
Pakistan team really played well in both the series against Sri Lanka as well as Bangladesh and proved that they are one of the best teams of the world, he said.
“It was a great tour for me as a team manager and I tried my best to keep the team united so that they may produce very good results and by the grace of Allah, I got succeeded in my aim,” he said.
The team has to work very hard for England series during the training session only then they can beat one of the tough teams of the world, he added.
