HAMBANTOTA: Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews won the toss and elected to bat first in the fifth and final one-day international against Pakistan at Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium today. Kusal Perera's second ODI ton came in a 164-run opening partnership with Tillakaratne Dilshan, and Angelo Mathews and Milinda Siriwardene did justice by hitting late boundaries to power Sri Lanka to 368 for 4. No one has previously chased down a total of over 300 in Sri Lanka.
In reply, the green shirts managed only 203. Pakistan had already sealed the series 3-1 and players got their hands onto the trophy after today's match.
