ISLAMABAD - Waqar Ahmed took six wickets for 32 runs to lead Youngsters Club to a 44-run victory over Ghouri Club in the NBP-ICA Cricket League-2012 here at Al-Muslim Cricket Ground on Sunday.
Batting first, Youngsters were all out 189 runs in 48.2 overs. Wahid Butt (74) and Asif Sohail (340 were main run-getters for Youngsters. For Ghouri Club, Zulqarnain Shah, Maqbool Hussain, Waseem Abbas and Umar Khan took two wickets each.
Chasing 190 runs for victory, Ghouri Club were bundled out for 145 runs in 25.2 overs. Saqib Ali (33), Umar Khan (27) and Waseem Abbas (25) batted well. Waqar (6-32) and Shaaryar Nadeem (2-16) shone with the ball for Youngsters.
