Pakistan bags first silver at the 2014 Commonwealth Games

GLASGOW - Pakistan won its first medal at the Commonwealth Games when Shah Hussain Shah, son of former Pakistani boxer Hussain Shah, bagged silver medal in the 100-kg Judo. Shah lost to Scotland’s Euan Burton in the final session of men's judo event, securing second position. Shah had reached the final after defeating New Zealand’s Tim Slyfield.


Shah had previously won a bronze medal in the Asian Judo Championship and another at the under-20 JIKJI Cup held in South Korea.
