Dengue fever spoils Mirzas T20 dream

KARACHI - Jahangir Mirza, a member of Lahore Lions team playing here in the 14-team Faysal Bank Twenty20 Cricket Cup, would be sent back home after he was found affected with dengue fever, a spokesman of the visiting team confirmed here Monday. A spokesman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) informed the media that the team management of Lahore Lions had found Jahangir Mirza affected with the fever and would be sent back home later on Monday evening. Jahangir Mirza had undergone tests while in Lahore after he was found running fever. The results of the tests conveyed to the player and the team management here Sunday night confirmed that the player was infected with the fever.
