LAHORE - Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar M Khan, COO Subhan Ahmad and the entire board staff and cricket fraternity in Pakistan was deeply saddened by the passing away of Phillip Hughes.
“It’s a sad day for cricket. We share the grief of Phil Hughes’ untimely and tragic death with his friends and family, and also with our friends in Cricket Australia. All our thoughts and prayers are with Phil and his family,” said Shaharyar.
Pakistan team manager and former cricketer Moin Khan said: “We are saddened and shocked at Hughes’ untimely death. The entire Pakistan team is sad and we send our heartfelt condolences to the family of Phil Hughes.” “Hughes was here as part of the Australian squad last month, and we found him to be a cheerful and friendly person.
