KARACHI - Veteran star Nomi Qamar reached semifinal of Subh-e-Nau Ranking Tennis Series here at CDGK Sports Complex on Saturday after defeating Talha Zubair after a tough contest. Talha showed some skill but experienced Nomi was too good for him to win 6-4, 6-3. Zuhair Raza, Vinod Das and Omer Shahid joined Nomi in semifinal lineup of men’s singles by defeating their respective opponents.
Meanwhile, Talha Zubair reached final of boys’ u-18 after beating Hassan Siddiqui. Hassan lost first set easily, however, gave tough time to his opponent. Talha will play Malik Hamza in final who defeated Maheen Dada in semifinal.  Maheen Dada also reached final of ladies’ singles on better point basis of round robin league. She will play against Hania Naveed who remained on second spot in this category. Dawar Rehan reached semifinal of boys’ u-14 category.
