We can make teams for all formats if PCB permits: Qasim

Lahore - Chief Selector Iqbal Qasim has said that they are ready to go for different formats while selecting Pakistan teams for T20, One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and Test matches.
"This is a policy matter and we cannot go on our own. If we get the green signal from Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Zaka Ashraf, we can adopt that policy," he said on Wednesday.  "If selection committee gets the green signal from PCB chief, it can help in broadening the base of Pakistan cricket," he said. This format will create more opportunities for the players, " he added.  "This is the modern era and selecting different teams for different formats can benefit Pakistan," he said.  He will meet PCB chief to discuss the idea with him and get his approval, he added.
"Pakistan got a lot of talent in different versions of cricket and it can strengthen our cricket set-up." Iqbal Qasim stated. He said that he will move to Rawalpindi to witness the semi-finals and the final of National T20 Cup.  Australia and England are in forefront to adopt the policy of different teams for T20, ODIs and Test matches.
