PCB delegation meets IGP for PSL security

LAHORE – A three-member delegation of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) met with acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Khan Baig here at Central Police Office (CPO) on Tuesday in order to review the security arrangements regarding holding of upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) in March 2013.
According to a police spokesperson, Managing Director PSL Salman Sarwat Butt, Director Domestic PCB Zakir Khan, Director Security PCB Ahsan Sadiq, DIG (Operations) Punjab Suhail Ahmed Khan, SP Security Lahore Abdul Ghaffar Khan Qaisrani, SP Model Town Lahore Awais Malik and PSO M Ali Naiko Kara were present in the meeting.
The PCB delegation discussed the security plans and their requirements with the IGP. IGP Punjab assured the delegation full cooperation in providing foolproof security to the participants of the league.
The PSL management is striving hard to make the league a success and in this regard, they are meeting with various people to provide each and every basic facility to the international players and provide them not only foolproof security but also high-quality accommodation, transpiration and other facilities.
