ISLAMABAD - A colorful grand opening ceremony of Punjab Youth Festival -2014 was organised at Shahnaz Shaikh Hockey Stadium Wednesday. Malik Abrar, Member National Assembly was the chief guest on the occasion while Sardar Naseem Khan, Raja Hanif MPA, Malik Iftikhar MPA, Chaudhry Sarfraz Afzal, MPA, DCO Sajid Zafar Dal, former Olympian Shahnaz Shaikh along with other dignitaries were also present on the opening ceremony. Players from different regions of Rawalpindi with their regional flags march past in front of the chief guest. 5-time national women football champions Young Rising Star Women Football Club with their skipper Asmara were also present on the occasion, who were given a standing ovation by the pack to capacity crowd.
