LAHORE Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has denied speculations that his decision to quit the Test captaincy and retire from the longer version of the game was due to problems with his teammates. Neither I have any problems with any player nor I am unhappy with anyone. My decision to retire from Tests was not an emotional one, reports quoted Afridi, as saying. Afridi had stunned everyone when he announced his decision to retire from Tests after leading the team in the first Test against Australia at Lords earlier this month. I realised after the first Test against Australia that I was not able to adjust with Test cricket so I took that decision which was in the larger interests of the team, he added. Afridi further said that he planed to continue playing ODIs and T20s as skipper and will join the team later on in England.
