ISLAMABAD - Army Football Club was forced to 1-1 draw by K-Electric FC in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) 44th match here at Jinnah Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex on Thursday. Army started the match as firm favorites, but K-Electric started the first half on a bright note. They launched series of attacks on Army goal, but were denied by superb goalkeeping of Army goalie. K-Electric went very close from scoring in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the side bar. Army took full advantage of the K-Electric mistakes as Sarfraz helped his team take 1-0 lead in the 45th minute of the first half. In the second half, Riaz leveled the match 1-1 scoring in the 86th minute. Both the teams tried to make further goals but failed to add any as the match ended in 1-1 draw.
