Bhuttos judicial murder

President Asif Ali Zardari by exercising his constitutional powers has rightly decided to refer case of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) which was in fact judicial murder. The verdict was given four to three in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. It was on record, the interview of Justice Nasim Hasan Shah who gave to GEO TV which I myself had seen. Justice Nasim Hasan Shah had said, If I would have liked, the life of ZAB could have been saved but the advocate of ZAB Yahya Bakhtiar had made us annoyed. It was clear admittance that Justice Nasim Shah had given verdict against ZAB not on merit but only under his personal sentiments. Further, there were reports by international media in the press that ex-army dictator General Ziaul Haq had influenced the judges to get verdict against ZAB. It is also sad some people are shamelessly trying to ignore the said facts including interview of Justice Nasim Shah by quoting one or two controversial statements of ZAB whereas one veteran journalist who printed lead story in his Urdu daily in the past: Udhar Tum, Edhar Hum had later clarified he put the heading in the sense that PPP had majority in West Pakistan and Awami League in East Pakistan but it was wrongly taken out of the contest.
