LAHORE – Federal Investigation Agency Anti-Corruption Circle on Saturday arrested postmaster of Post Office allegedly involved in sale of fake arm licence stamps, said spokesman of FIA.
He said the FIA received secret information that accused Javed was involved in preparation of fake arm licence tickets. On which, the raid was conducted by FIA Anti-Corruption Circle at Post Office Thokar Niaz Baig and Postmaster Muhammad Sahfiq was arrested red handed while using fake arms licence stamps for renewal of arm licences.
The raiding team also recovered fake and forged stamps of worth Rs 180000 from the possession of the post master. The FIA has registered a case against the accused and started investigations.
