ISLAMABAD - A member of Majlis (Parliament) of Iran has said that Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline project would lead to economic and political development in the region. Hedayatollah Mirmoradzehi said IP project would accelerate gas exports and create job opportunities in the region, Islamic Republic News Agency reported. The ground-breaking ceremony of Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project was held in south-eastern province of Sistan and Balochistan in the presence of Pakistani and Iranian presidents on March 11.
