LAHORE – After the dispersion of the PML-Q (Like-Minded Group) many of its leaders submitted nomination papers from the platform of PML-Junejo, while Kashmala Tariq has filed her nomination papers for NA-124 and NA-125 on Sunday.

Humayun Akhtar Khan also submitted nomination papers for NA-118, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127 and 130 (Lahore), besides NA-79 (Faisalabad) with the hope that he might get a PML-N ticket from any of these constituencies.  However, PML-N sources told that chances of Humayun Khan, the son of former DG ISI were minimal as the party was already under pressure for seats of Lahore and important divisions like Faisalabad.

Meanwhile, Kashmala, one of the betrayed member of Like-Minded has filed nominations for the two constituencies with the consultation of her colleagues in the PML-Junejo and constituents of NA-125 and 124 and she would be lobbying other likeminded forces of these constituencies in a bid to challenge her opponents in general elections on May 11.
