7,000 acres for Nawaz Sharif Agriculture Varsity

MULTAN  - District Coordination Officer (DCO) Zahid Saleem Gondal announced on Monday that 7000 acres land has been allocated for Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Agriculture University which would be handed over to varsity administration soon.
   He was addressing a Food Security Challenges conference here at Bahauddin Zakariya University held under the auspices of Agriculture Department. The DCO added that it was not possible for everybody to be an agriculture graduate and the sector was not getting the attention which it deserved.
   Farmers, who consult people concerned, harvest good crops, he said. Gondal urged floriculture and horticulture departments of the varsity to come forward and play their role in beautifying the city. He disclosed that tourist huts would be set up at the Qasim Fort and development work would be completed soon.
