The Factory Area Police have registered a case against four brick kiln owners and their 10 henchmen on charge of firing on a court bailiff and police raiding party.

The LHC had constituted a bailiff on a petition submitted by one Asmat Ullah that four of his relatives including two women had been confined in a room by kiln owner Ijaz, Ayub and others.

The bailiff led by Amjad Bashir Dar took the Factory Area Police personnel along and raided the kiln located in Moman Pura. The brick kiln owner along with their henchmen opened fire on bailiff and police party. In retaliation, the attackers managed to escape from the site and later the confined persons identified as Farooq, Rustam, Razia Bibi and Zainab Bibi were got released by the bailiff.

The Factory Area Police launched a crackdown to arrest the brick kiln owners and their henchmen, who were still at large.

Meanwhile, three days floral exhibition has arranged at local stadium by the TMA. Different varieties of flowers were kept in the exhibition.

A large number of people are visiting the venue and taking keen interest in the exhibition.
