PESHAWAR - Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader and former MNA, has demanded of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to establish a full-fledged university in district Chitral and allocate fund in this regard in the upcoming annual development programme.

Maulana Chatrali while addressing a news conference here at Peshawar Press Club on Monday criticised the previous governments.

He said that without proper planning or any homework the previous governments recommended establishment of the campuses of Abdul Wali Khan University and Benazir Bhutto University in district Chitral for mere political mileage and point scoring.

He informed that one of the campuses was established at a rented building while for another one the students of Chitral Technical College were displaced from their own building, which was quite injustice.
