ISLAMABAD - Following the indictment of former president Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf, Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan had a detailed meeting on the issue with Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday.

A source in the ruling PML-N said it was decided in principle that the issue of removing the name of the former general from exit control list would be dealt with in the light of the court order.

Though no handout was issued from the prime minister’s media section but a source in the PM House confirmed the meeting between the two leaders, which was later joined by a couple of federal ministers but he was not aware of the deliberations of the closed-door meeting.

The source in the government further informed that the ongoing dialogue issue with Taliban also figured in the meeting and Prime Minister Sharif stressed the need of taking the dialogue process to its logical end.
