LAHORE  - A man fell unconscious after black coats tortured him when he forcibly tried to go into Kiyani Hall and misbehaved with the senior lawyers at Lahore High Court Bar Association here on Monday.

Muhammad Rasheed, a resident of Okara district, had come to LHC in connection with a case. During break time, he tried to pass through Kiyani Hall, a sitting place for lawyers, to canteen in the rear courtyard.  At the entrance, a security officer stopped him from entering into lawyers’ place but he insisted to use the hall to go to canteen.

At this, a bunch of lawyers standing nearby intervened into the matter and asked him to stay away from entering into hall.

However, Rasheed misbehaved with them and exchanged hot words. Finally, the lawyers badly thrashed him and he fell unconscious. Later Rescue 1122 was called and the person was taken to hospital.

President LHCBA Shafqat Mehmood Chohan said unidentified person tried to forcibly enter into Kiyani Hall. He misbehaved and beat senior lawyers. Chohan constituted a committee led by vice president Amir Jalil Siddiqi to look into the incident and identify the person and his object.

Chohan also tasked the committee to determine at whose behest he misbehaved senior lawyers and tried to create unrest at LHC. The committee will furnish its report in seven days.
