Peshawar High Court Bar has demanded action against former president Gen Pervez Musharraf under Article 6 of the constitution and to make the PCO judges non-functional. The lawyers in Peshawar like their colleagues in other parts of the country celebrating the apex court verdict on Nov-3, 2007 steps. Senior lawyers Abdul Latif Afridi, Essa Khan, Syed Qahhar Khan and Barrister Bacha in their speeches in the general body meeting of Peshawar High Court Bar said the PCO judges were not entitled to sympathy and they should be made non-functional. The lawyers saluted the media for the coverage that helped lawyers movement to gain success.
