ISLAMABAD- Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid today hoped the democracy-loving political parties will try to convince Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri to adopt a legal course to push their respective demands.

Talking to journalists, Rashid said PPP, ANP, Pakhtunkhawa Milli Awami Party, JUIF, Jamaat-e-Islami and Qaumi Jamhuri Party will begin mediation to this affect during the upcoming session of the National Assembly.

He added that PML-N leadership would also take initiative to persuade PTI and PAT not to disturb the democratic system. Pervez Rashid assured the government will welcome any proposals by the PTI chief to ensure speedy disposal of pending electoral disputes.
