Due to the intensive bombardment in Gaza on homes and hospitals, the numbers of casualties is consistently increasing, with the majority being women and children. Under the ever present hum of circling drones, the squeal of jets, bomb blasts, firing and attacks by the Israeli army with tanks and naval gunfire from the sea, most women and children are stuck indoors without food or medical aid. Such a massacre of innocent people is surely not in accordance with the United Nations Human Rights Charter, nor by the standards of any International Humanitarian Law. The international community must step forward and stop this violation of human rights. Why is there such silence for these lost souls?
