ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Saturday claimed that they can overthrow the incumbent government in a democratic and parliamentary manner but other Opposition parties have no policy.

“Imran Khan can be ousted from the federation. The PPP will continue to fight this puppet government and give tough time to it in the Parliament,” Bilawal said while addressing a press conference here after a meeting with Azad Kashmir party ticket holders. He was accompanied by PPP Azad Kashmir President Latif Akbar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Humayun Khan, Farhatullah Babar, Faisal Karim Kundi and others.

He said that the rigging in AJK elections will be exposed in front of the people.“ Attempts are being made to suppress the PPP. Modi is taking political revenge in occupied Kashmir and Imran Khan also took political revenge in AJK,” he said, adding that the PPP workers and activists have worked day and night to snatch 11 seats despite rigging. He blamed that the PTI awarded a ticket to former Taliban leader for the Kashmir Ulema seat.

To a question, Bilawal said that money worked in Azad Kashmir elections, PTI businessmen and ministers distributed money.

About E-11 flood situation, he said the government has left the people without any support after the destruction caused by the recent rains in Islamabad.  “No federal minister has come to the aid of the people. We want fair and transparent elections without the interference of the establishment,” he said, adding that the government has left the people of Islamabad helpless after the recent rains.

About Coronavirus [COVID-19], he said the federal government is politicising the coronavirus. “ Sindh government is taking measures to protect the lives of the people. Imran Khan will be responsible for the situation if it deteriorates like that in India,” he warned. “ Delta virus has come to Pakistan with the opening of the border. It is the responsibility of the federal government to take care of the people,” he said.
